Charles Seymour  (Age 74)

On Wednesday, April 26, 2017, Retired Sergeant Charles Seymour, of Silver Spring, MD passed away. He is survived by one son Jeffery Seymour; and one grandson Marcus Seymour. Charles was appointed to the Executive Protective Service on September 20, 1971 and retired from the Secret Service Uniformed Division on December 28, 2002. A Visitation with a Prayer Service will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd. West, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, May 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Moultrie, GA.

Passed away peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2017. She was born in Portland Cottage, Clarendon, Jamaica in 1939 to George and Louise Ankle. She Migrated to Nottingham, England in 1957 and relocated to Silver Spring, MD in 1986. She is survived by two daughters, Doris Golding (Mimi) Paulette Day and three sons, Kenneth Golding, Alfred Smith and Ravel Polson; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by one brothers, Ewan Ankle and Sister Una Ankle. Maud worked with the “Grunberg Family” for 30 years. She is a member of Bethesda International Church. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, 20901(Valet Parking), Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. She will be laid to rest on Sunday, 28 May 2017 at Portland Cottage, Clarendon, Jamaica. Agnes Horrigan of Burtonsville, MD passed away on April 19, 2017. She was proceeded in death by her husband Thomas J. Horrigan, Sr. Mother of Thomas J. Horrigan, Jr. (Nancy), Katherine Hinken (Mark) and Patricia Stump (Sam). Grandmother to Tiffany Horrigan, Tara Bewley (John), Amanda Casasola (Stuart), Katelyn Warren (Matthew), Mark Hinken and Thomas Hinken, and four great grandchildren. Survived by sister, Rita Palmer. Proceeded in death by her parents, Bernard and Mary Daniels, brothers Joseph, Buck, John and sisters, Mary Jane Harrison, Ann King, Margaret Deane, Frances Vitiello and Catherine Woods.

Agnes was born in the District of Columbia on January 15, 1931. She attended St. Gabriel’s Grade School and Notre Dame High School. After high school Agnes went to work for the District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Department where she met, her husband, Thomas on October 18, 1952. After marriage Thomas and Agnes made their home in Wheaton, MD for over 50 years. While raising her family, Agnes volunteered at St. Catherine Laboure School and Church, St. John’s College High School and the Academy of Holy Cross High School. She oversaw the operation of Claridge Caterers for St. Catherine Laboure Parish in Wheaton, Md. For 20 years.

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. She was born in Merrill, Wisconsin in 1928 and married Charles Cleveland in 1949. After living for a short time in Pennsylvania, the Cleveland’s moved to Chevy Chase, MD. Phyllis is survived by two daughters, Mary Beth (Ron), Kathryn (John) and three sons, John (Betsy), David (Maria) and Paul (Holly); 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, David and James Brandt. Phyllis worked with “The Little Group” nursery school, at both Blessed Sacrament and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Churches for 40 years. Grandmother of Avi, Harry and Molly. Daughter of the late Samuel and Esther Green. Audrey had spunk and vitality. She was extraordinarily warm and adored sharing her talent playing the piano. She loved having her last years at Riderwood Village. Memorial Service will be celebrated at Riderwood Village, Maryland Hall, 3120 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD, 20904 on Sunday, April 23, at 3 p.m. Interment private. Passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at his home in Washington, DC. He is survived by his beloved wife, Arsenia Del Carmen Iraheta, stepchildren, Moises Blanco, Veronica Blanco, and Joanne Blanco; his previous wife, Denise Dodd and their son, Brent Acajabon; and his previous wife, Elsa Acajabon and their two sons, Edwin Acajabon, and Edgar Acajabon; and his much loved grandchildren, Diego Acajabon, Sofia Acajabon, Alejandro Acajabon, Maya Acajabon, Kara Acajabon, Hannah Acajabon, Joy Acajabon, Giselle Andino, Madalin Gomez, Jossan Zavala, Miguel Zavala, David Blanco, Julia Blanco, Kailah Benitez, and Leyla Galindo. He is also survived by his brother Miguel Arcangel Telmo Americo, his sister Ely Roxanda and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his mother, Maria Filomena Lopez Martinez.
